JADE LALLY
ASSISTANT COACH
SHADINE DUQUEMIN
ASSISTANT COACH
Like most international athletes, Shadine's coaching journey began as a result of wanting to give back to the sport she loved. After a few years of coaching at the local athletics club, she undertook a voluntary internship at the Jersey High Performance Programme where she worked as an assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.
This fuelled her passion for coaching further and lead to her gaining her Personal Training qualification. Shadine's experiences as both an international Discus thrower and coach lead to her employment as a throws coach at Loughborough University where she continues to assist the student and UTS athletes with great success.
While high performance sport is something that Shadine is accustomed to, she also has a passion for helping clients with less performance related goals and looks after a growing number of personal training clients for UTS. Shadine currently uses her experience to support these clients with an individualised approach and particularly enjoys seeing the positive impact of regular exercise on her clients' wellbeing.
